Judy Asarkof, owner of Natural Pet Options, has been researching and implementing natural nutrition and alternative health options for over 10 years. Her quest started by switching her own dog, Oggi, a Bernese Mountain Dog to a raw diet. Judy realized the value that real whole foods, containing no artificial ingredients and unchanged by any heat processing, play in the diet of any living thing. Having both a bachelors and masters degree in the sciences has helped Judy examine concepts critically and scientifically over the years.
Judy has been instrumental in guiding various retail stores to add raw diet options for pet owners, introducing local veterinarians to the concepts of raw diets and natural health options, setting up numerous raw diet co-ops in the area, and in promoting organic and pasture-based farmers around New England. Since 2002, Judy has professionally guided hundreds of new raw feeders and pet owners interested in natural options, serving as educator, mentor and constant support for all who seek to learn. Today, she continues to work with pet owners, natural breeders and the veterinary community interested in maximizing animals’ health potential through natural nutrition and natural health care options.
