To all who want the best for their pets. Judy, I would like to thank you for helping me see the light in regards to making my dogs healthier. As a breeder of golden retrievers I am always trying to do the best for them and I was lucky enough to meet you and hear about your knowledge of the raw diet in late 2006. I have seen so many changes in my dogs since I switched to the whole prey model diet that I felt I needed to share my story of my 13 year old cocker spaniel Murphy. Our vets said our cocker Murphy would have to be on medication for her blood disorder, her eye and ear issues for the rest of her life. Murphy has battled an auto-immune problem and countless eye and ear infections. She has been in and out of hospitals over the last 2 years and has been on countless medications, weekly blood tests and painful illnesses due to medication reactions. I noticed that she was not getting better and I took her off the meds and the prescribed dry kibble and put her right on the raw diet. Within one month I notice a difference in her. It has now been 5 months on the raw diet and she is like a new dog. Has not been to a vet since!!! No medications at all and her eyes and ears are clear. It is just amazing to see the transformation. Someone came to visit us recently and they thought Murphy was a new dog we purchased. When I told her it was Murphy she couldn't believe it. The same goes true with my goldens.
My first litter of raw feed pups born Nov 7th, 2006 are the healthiest bunch of pups I have ever seen. Thank you Judy for coming out to our home and giving us a class on the raw diet to the new puppy owners. We appreciate your time and knowledge in helping us make the right choices for our pets. We can't wait for you to see our 4 month old puppies. They are just beautiful, happy and healthy pups. I highly recommend Judy Asarkof from Natural Pet Options for the health of your pets. Looking forward to having you come back Judy. I have attached a picture of our Nov 7th, 2006 litter for you to share.
Thanks again.

I started my golden retriever, Bailey, on the raw diet at the age of 9. Although there were no serious problems with her health, I was concerned because she had a lot of fatty tumors. I think this was my push to try the raw diet... I had seen the difference in dogs who were fed raw diets, from my customer -turned friend and colleague, Judy Asarkof. Judy was EXTREMELY helpful in my transition to raw feeding. She recommended books to read, which I still recommend to 'newbies' by the way, and answered ANY and ALL of my stupid questions. She taught me not to be afraid to mix it up a little- offer Bailey a variety of meat proteins, raw bones and include whole, raw eggs, etc...just as I liked variety in my diet, I found, so did Bailey!
Within the first few months I recall many positive changes, including weight loss, a shinier coat and more consistent energy levels. The coolest thing is her fatty tumors started to shrink or not grow any larger. She had always been an active dog, loving long walks and swimming and up until the age of 13 1/2 I was walking her daily. Today, at the tender age of almost 15, she still continues to amaze me. Her weight is consistent at 48-50 lbs. (when I adopted her at age 3 she was eating Purina Dog Chow and 67 lbs.), she has a muscular body, is healthy, has a strong heart, no 'conditions' and can hold her bladder for 12 hours. I attribute the long life of my healthy dog to lots of love, exercise and great nutrition through the raw diet.

I first met Judy though her work as a raw food consultant. Her depth of knowledge, and her warm ability to communicate it, gave me the confidence to make the change to raw food for my dog, Oscar. She has been a continuing source of information on many other health and wellness issues. Oscar loves the raw diet, he has the most wonderful silky, shiny coat that everyone (and I mean Everyone) refers to when they see him. Just today, I was at Trader Joes and this man came up to me and said that he couldn't help but notice how beautiful Oscar looked.

I came to Judy because one of my dogs had developed a lot of premature grey hair and was a picky eater, demanding, for instance, that chicken backs and necks are cut into pieces... then smaller pieces... Judy brought to my attention a whole bunch of things we underestimated: overdoing vitamins and oils, unnecessary chemicals that might be negative to health, feeding the same boring diet which he seems to be sensitive to up to the point of feeling almost nauseous. Upon Judy's suggestion, we started to alternate different kinds of meat, carefully reconsidered any supplements in their diet and re-evaluated chemicals used on the dogs. It's been over two months, and it looks like -- knock! knock! knock on the wood! -- Barrymore's early grey hair is slowly going away. His appetite is much!

I was at first very cautious about raw diet. Was it just another money making scheme. I looked for as much information as I could. My bulldogs were on kibble and they were going downhill. Losing their hair, ears always dirty, allergies flaring up. After all the allergy tests and medical bills we decided to start a raw diet. How do we do that? The books were confusing and I was nervous. After attending a seminar with Judy, she made raw diet straight forward and comprehendible. Knowing she is always an e-mail away decreases the anxiety of just not knowing. Now we have been feeding raw for over six months and are ready to increase our knowledge again. It is a life time learning experience and an involvement with your dogs.
